This Saturday, the inaugural New South Fest takes place at the French Legation Museum, and fields is happy to be part of the fun. We'll be tabling alongside many great local presses and publications, including A Strange Object, Monofonus Press, The Austin Review, AWST Press, and many others. Also present will be a number of notable cartoonists and illustrators, including Jim Rugg, Tuesday Bassen, Rand Renfrow, Jonny Negron, and a whole bunch more. The full list is available here.

The event takes place from 11-7, and it is free and open to the public. Fore more information, please visit the facebook event page. Also, there will be a pre-party at Not Gallery the night before, with a sneak peak of a new exhibit featuring work from illustrator John Malta. More information on the exhibit can be found here.

We at fields are obviously big fans of print culture, and there will be all sorts of great books, prints, postcards, and other goods to get your paws on (including, if you haven't yet, one of our last few copies of issue 3!).

We hope to see you there!
